Hotelkeepers managed to ensure high occupancy rate for the forthcoming ski season. About 5% more foreign fans of winter amusements have made reservations in Bulgarian ski resorts, announced the president of Bulgarian Tourist Chamber Tsvetan Tonchev in an interview with "Focus" agency.

In his opinion the winter resort Bansko has registered the highest occupancy rates, followed by Borovets and Pamporovo.
"However, prices in Bulgaria are higher than in Austrian winter resorts" Mr. Tonchev admitted.

Rumen Draganov, director of the Institute of Analysis and Assessment in Tourism foresees that most probably the offers would not include average prices. According to him, hotelkeepers and tour operators will offer either cheap vacations or expensive programmes.
Most businessmen in tourism offer a 10% to 20% discount, which attracts clients. Tourists are lured by packages with free extras - food, drinks, and extra night stay in the hotel or discounts for children, too.
